Local Dad Just Walking Around Denver With a Shovel Hoping to be Of Service
DENVER, CO — With unprecedented winter storm Xylia pummeling the city of Denver with snow, a local Dad has taken to the streets of his neighborhood with a shovel to be of service in any way possible.
Fifty-eight-year-old Marvin Jones says that he’s not a hero; he’s just doing his civil duty.
“There is no better feeling than shoveling a Buick sedan out of a snow drift so that someone can continue safely on their journey,” Jones told Sleeping Sardines. “It’s an honor and a privilege.”
While Jones noted that he doesn’t condone travel under such adverse conditions, he understands that emergencies do arise.
“I just shoveled out a very friendly gay couple on their way to a threesome,” Jones said. “I can’t think of a better reason to be out and about on this snowy Sunday!”
After a long day of work, Jones is looking forward to a quiet night spent at home.
“I’m gonna brew myself a hot cocoa and watch an entire season of Ray Donovan tonight,” he said. “Stay safe out there ladies and gentleman!”
